It’s been an eventful fall as we continue to reengage with Salerno (and more importantly, the people of Salerno), and develop the vision for Salerno City Church. Our family had an unexpected surprise thrown into our year. Our Italian financial consultants advised us to take a one time trip out of country to save thousands on taxes for 2011. We did a bit of research, found some super cheap tickets, and were offered a free vacation home in northern England for 10 days. We booked everything on Tuesady, and left on Firday! It will be our first real family vacation, and could not have come at a better time. The town we will be staying (Keswick, in the lake district) is quite, beautiful, and a short drive from many great places to visit. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with this trip.
