We are pleased to announce the new website for Salerno City Church. This site will function as the central location for information and updates specific to our church planting efforts in Salerno. We will be posting occasional articles, stories and prayer requests that will help you stay informed specifically on our ministry there. Having said that, the updates you have been receiving from JustinandAbbey.com will continue, but they will be specific to our family.

If you desire to stay informed with our ministry activity, you can easily fill out the form below and you will be added to the list. Be sure to stop by SalernoChurch.com to see what we will be doing.

In light of our new theme of exposure, hoping that many people come in contact with our ministry, we created a Facebook page. Hopefully, this will act as a second website, but will be much more accessible since the average human on Facebook is there every day for hours. Would you be so kind as to click the little “Like” button below, which will make you a fan of our page? Thanks! If the button below doesn’t work, you can visit the page here, and click the “Like” button at the top of the screen.

I’ve made a few significant updates to our site, all with the hopes it will make it more accessible to a wider audience. First, I added a “Subscribe via Email” function. If you subscribe, it will send you an email that will show the post right in your inbox. Its a good way to keep up to date if you don’t know how to use an RSS reader. You’ll find this option on the menu bar…

Finally, I added functionality for mobile users. iPhone users in particular (it will work for other smart phones too I think). If you want to follow our blog from your mobile device, it will automatically format it for your phone. With the option of course to view it normally too. I’m pretty excited about this one. If you have a wordpress blog and want the same functionality, just look for a plugin called WPtouch. It’s really easy to format.

Well, we decided it would be worth the effort to upgrade our website to something that is more versatile, accessible for us and you, and easy to integrate multiple forms of communication (blogs, twitter feeds, contact forms, photos and videos, etc).

So, this is what we’ve got so far. It’s a work in progress for sure, but I’m happy so far. As for the blog I imported some recent newsletters and posts, but not everything we’ve done in the past. Well, mostly its been uploaded newsletters with an occasional blog entry. Our hope is to be more active in blogging too.

Anyways, thanks for coming! Be sure to bookmark us, or add us to your RSS subscriptions to keep up on our latest.
