Maid of Honor

Emma Chase, the maid of honor, is Abbey's roommate of over 5 years now. After randomly being assigned to the same hall of their freshman dorm at Lee University, she and Abbey quickly bonded over their shared love for late-night food runs, strategic board games, and doing things for the plot. Emma is a senior actuarial assistant at Unum, and, when she's not goofing off with Abbey or studying for an exam, she loves rock-climbing, journaling, and trying new crafts. She can't wait to celebrate Abbey and Justin with you!

Rachel Currey is Abbey’s cousin, though Abbey has always felt like a sister she never had. From always wearing matching outfits as kids, to spending our childhood summers together watching movies and playing Lego Batman all night, we always have the best time together.

Rachel loves to spend time outside gardening, walking her dog Maverick at the park, and baking. She is an adventurous spirit who loves to travel the world. Rachel is honored to stand by Abbey’s side on her and Justin’s big day.

Alison and Abbey have been friends since their freshmen year of college, where they immediately bonded in their intro to statistics class. Luckily enough, Abbey is a genius and helped coach Alison throughout this class (and eventually Andrew, who they convinced to be their bestie once he realized how cool they were). They were fortunate enough to have lived together the last two years of college, which were the best two years ever. They had many good memories in college including late night pizza and cookout runs, long chats about personality tests, and staying up late watching Disney and RomCom movies. Alison is an elementary school teacher and when she’s not at school, she enjoys hanging out with her husband Brett and doing youth ministry with him at their church. She is SO excited for Abbey and Justin and is honored to be able to stand by Abbey on such an important day!!

Alex Boggs has been Abbey’s friend ever since Emma introduced them in college. From the first time they met and played board games, it’s been an instant friendship. Abbey and Alex especially love watching March Madness and screaming at the players together. Alex loves spending time with her friends, family, and her two big dogs, Shep and Shelley. When she’s not spending time with loved ones, Alex can be found in the kitchen cooking and baking or with her nose stuck in the latest romance novel. Alex is honored to be by Abbey’s side on the first day of her and Justin’s happily ever after.

I was blessed with the friendship of Abbey Swanner more years ago than I can count. Abbey and I share wonderful memories of family vacations together, creating dances and songs inspired by swimming in the rain and bringing home the pizza(you had to be there LOL), and eating bowls of brownie batter in Dee Dee and Ronalds kitchen. I feel so lucky to be a part of this day! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I spend my days being an uncertified therapist. When not doing that I love enjoying the sunshine, being with people I love, and am a serial new-hobby-starter hehe. I cannot wait to enjoy this time of planning and celebrating the lovely couple!!

Audrey Sharpe, a bridesmaid, met Abbey middle school. They became good friends in high school, then reconnected later on and became even closer! Audrey is so blessed to have such a wonderful, tight knit group of girlfriends, all who she met thanks to Abbey. She loves going out of her comfort zone, juicy yap sessions, and most importantly, quality time with quality company. As long as she's with her friends she'll do just about anything and have a blast while doing so! Audrey is incredibly happy for Abbey and Justin, and so grateful to be able to be a part in this beautiful celebration!
